Search Engine Optimization Basics

Search Engine has been around for over 10 years now and there have been thousands of articles about the topic. I personally have been following the madness for the past 4-5 years. Rarely a topic in online business has attracted more the attention of CEOs and CMOs more than appearing on top of  "search engines" for your "keyword". 

Of course people that know how to optimize websites and consider themselves SEOs /search engine optimization gurus/ did all they could to bring this service to an almost "mystery", "black - white" and all other colours of the hat to keep attention and consulting fees high.

In reality search engine optimization is much more simple than it appears. Thanks to search engines and some SEOs this madness has turned into a necessary for success service but by no means more complex then building the site for example. Like when people think that organizing the informational signs in a library or hospital is as difficult as building the library itself.
